In August, David & David Mullins headed north for the Kilsyth International Carnival just outside of Glasgow. The one day event drew massive crowds and attentive audiences for David & David's hour long set on the main stage.

For the penultimate gig in the myspace lads tour David and David Mullins performed at The Gardening Club in Covent Garden on Sunday 14th January. To a packed crowd they performed songs from David's newly released EP and more.

Both Davids took to the stage in Bristol's Fleece & Firkin on the second leg of the January tour with Chris Townsend and Jake Hook. The set included 'One Old Soul', 'Time', 'Insomnia', 'Lisa' and the title of David's EP 'White Noise'.

On Monday 18th September David performed a last minute set at The Rock N Roll Kabaret night at The Troubadour in Earls Court. Solo, he performed 'Lazy', 'One Old Soul' and two brand new songs 'Johnny's Guitar' and 'Lisa'.

David and John performed live at '4 Sticks Live' at the Cobden Club in Kensal Green. They performed three songs in the first half and three songs in the second to a packed crowd.

MND BENEFIT, JOHNSTONE |
|
|
David performed live at a benefit gig in Johnstone for his Uncle who is suffering from MND. Accompanied by Martians John and Harry, David performed thirteen songs to a packed crowd of fans, friends and family.

|
David and John were joined by Martian Harry on guitar to perform ten songs undercover at the Dunstaffnage Music Festival in Oban in July 2006.

David returned to Scotland for an awesome gig at Oran Mor on 22nd July with John. Performing a set of 11 songs the guys enthralled the audience with new material including a special never-before-heard version of Stop Living The Lie.

On 19th July Dave and John peformed the last in their 3-nights of gigs in London at Ginglik in Shepherds Bush. They performed four songs but to the delight of the crowd were asked to stay on stage and give an encore.

David and John performed outdoors at 'Acoustic Magic' in Canary Wharf on 18th July.
In the balmy summer evening the guys brought the park to life with an awesome set under the cover of giant skyscrapers.

David and John performed at High Barn in Essex on July 17th. With John on acoustic guitar and David at the grand piano the guys battled the extreme heat to entertain the audience with eight songs in this stunning timber barn.

July 13th saw David get back behind the piano and debut six brand new tracks at The Bedford in Balham. Accompanied by both Jamie Mein and John Kielty on guitar, David impressed fans and friends alike with his impressive new material.

On 28th May, David was joined by John Kielty and stray Martian Harry Ward live at the Evolve Festival in Colne, Lancashire. The trio performed a collection of songs ranging from Sham material, to David's old solo material to a few select covers.

|
On February 23rd and 24th The Sham joined forces with The Freeloaders to wow audiences with two gigs at The Boardwalk in Sheffield and the Baths Hall in Scunthorpe.

On February 14th The Sham performed to a packed crowd at The Bedford in Balham. The set consisted of all the regular Sham favourites and also saw the debut of a brand new song 'One To Another'.

HOGMANAY - ABERDEEN |

|
The Sham helped 50,000 revellers in Aberdeen see in the New Year at Aberdeen's Hogmanay celebrations. They performed a mix of Sham songs and popular covers on the Langstane Stage. The set was broadcast on Northsound 1.

CAFE SOCIETY - NEW YEAR'S EVE |
|
|
The Sham had lunch, performed live and held a Q&A session for fans at Aberdeen's Cafe Society. All takings for the day were donated by Cafe Society to charity 'Cash4Kids'. In total over £18,000 was raised.

CHILDREN'S TRUST |
|
|
The Sham performed live to hundreds at the Royal Lancaster Hotel in London in aid of the TACT 25th Annversary dinner. They performed 8 songs in total and £19,000 was raised from fundraising on the night.

The Sham performed a last minute gig on Friday 5th November at ULU (The University of London Union). The half hour set included songs 'Hiding From Me', 'Fallen Angel', 'Upbeat Beat',' Lazy', 'Star' and 'Goodbye Baby'.

The Sham supported Rob Reynolds at Bush Hall in Shepherds Bush in early November 2004. The band performed 'Hiding From Me', 'Fallen Angel', 'Lazy', 'No More Words', 'Only A Boy', 'Star' and their single 'Goodbye Baby'.

The Sham performed at Cityfest in Guildford on Saturday 16th October. With Jon Dowling stepping in for John Kielty, the band performed eight songs including new song 'No More Words'and a rocking re-worked version of 'Lazy'.

|
On October 12th, The Sham (minue John Kielty) performed a last minute acoustic set at Bar Mambo in Guildford. The stunning set featured acoustic versions of all Sham songs and the B-side to 'Goodbye Baby'.

To celebrate the release of debut single 'Goodbye Baby' the band performed at a private launch party at Cargo in Shoreditch. With support guests Rob Reynolds and Nate James and compered by Tony Moore the night was a great success.

In May 2004, David performed at the Glasgow Armadillo in aid of 'Reaching Out For Africa'. During his short set he announced an imminent return to performing with a new band.

During the summer of 2003 David performed at many summer roadshows throughout the UK including the BOX Live Tour, the XS tour, Free At The Dee, Live and Loud, Live In The City, and Pop On The Rock.

In July of 2003, David was invited by Sir Elton John to support him at the KC Stadium in Hull. David performed a full set and then enjoyed Elton's Set from the VIP Boxes. Elton dedicated 'I Want Love' to David.

|
On a frantic FA Cup Final day, David gets helicoptered from Cardiff after the match (Arsenal won!) across to Bristol where he opened for Bryan Adams.

With fellow Fame Academy contestants Malachi, Lemar and Nigel in the crowd along with many, many fans, David performed his entire album at the Chicago Rock Cafe in Northampton in May 2003.

Early in 2003 David and the band performed a whole series of University Summer Balls and Summer parties including Keele, Aberystwyth, Nottingham and Herts.

To launch his debut album 'Seven Years - Ten Weeks', David performed the album at and exclusive gig at The Garage in Glagow. During the set he was awarded a Gold disc for having sold 100,000 copies of the album.

After the success of Fame Academy, all students participated in an arena tour throughout the country including venues in Aberdeen, Glasgow, Belfast, Dublin, Cardiff, Manchester, Birmingham, Nottingham, London, Newcastle and Sheffield.

2003 SOLO TOUR - BAND |
|
Throughout 2003 David was accompanied by a very talented band of musicians. The band went through a rigorous audition process ('Band Academy') to secure a place playing for David. The end result was a well-gelled and impressive unit which appeared with David on Top Of The Pops and other TV shows and all gigs up and down the country.
David comments "Whenever I'm on stage, it should be that I'm the lead singer of a band, it shouldn't be that it's me and my band. You know, we're all on there together, so it's not MY band. The guys are all fantastic musicians, to be honest I'm kinda lucky to be playing with them." |
